Hello! I’m Caitlin
My Story
I am a Clinical Nutritionist and Exercise Physiologist with over 10 years of experience helping clients get healthy—and stay healthy. As a nine-time marathoner and homebirth mom of three, I understand firsthand the vital role nutrition plays in both peak performance and motherhood.
I take a holistic, individualized approach to health, focusing on real, TRUE food and addressing the whole person—body, mind, and lifestyle.
In addition to my work in nutrition and exercise, I am trained in Biomagnetism Therapy, a gentle, non-invasive technique that uses strategically placed magnets to help restore the body’s pH balance. I am also highly experienced in muscle testing, a powerful tool I use to help identify imbalances in the body and guide personalized protocols. These modalities support the body’s innate ability to heal and work synergistically with nutritional and lifestyle strategies to promote balance and homeostasis.
I specialize in working with clients facing chronic illness who are ready to take charge of their health. My key areas of interest include autoimmune conditions, Lyme disease, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, children’s health (including PANDAS, autism, and digestive issues), and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression.
“Unless the doctors of today become the nutritionists of tomorrow, the nutritionists of today will become the doctors of tomorrow.”
My Health Journey
I remember having joint pain as early as five years old — mostly in my hands, feet, and elbows. The pain would come and go, and it always worsened in colder weather. It became my “normal,” and I assumed everyone had these aches and pains from time to time.
In my teenage years, I experienced an acute bout of pancreatitis, which led to the removal of my gallbladder. Initially, I felt better, but the deeper issues remained. I hadn’t changed the way I was eating, nor had I addressed the underlying infections and imbalances in my body.
In college, I turned to exercise as a way to manage stress and anxiety. I loved it so much that after earning my B.A. in Biology, I went on to complete an M.S. in Exercise Science. I became a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Personal Trainer, and Cancer Exercise Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. While exercise helped me feel strong and stay in shape, I still struggled with anxiety, fatigue, and digestive issues. I lived in fear of not being near a bathroom — some of you may know exactly what that’s like. Every time I brought up my symptoms to doctors, I was brushed off with lines like, “Every woman complains of being tired.”
The tipping point came in my mid to late 20s when I didn’t get my period for a full year. My OBGYN ran several tests and diagnosed me with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). I was prescribed oral contraceptives, but I stopped them after just a few days because I felt absolutely awful. I was lost and frustrated — and I prayed that my cycle would return naturally.
Around that time, my sister began seeing a natural health practitioner for her own chronic issues. She suggested I see him, and I was all in. I was truly sick and tired of being sick and tired and ready to make a change.
With his guidance, I began making gradual improvements to my diet. He also recommended whole food supplements to support gentle detox and healing. That’s when I truly began to understand that nutrition is not just about “calories in, calories out.” Food is powerful medicine.
Over time, my joint pain disappeared. My energy became stable. My anxiety and digestive symptoms improved. My body began to heal — as a whole.
That healing journey is what sparked my deep passion for nutrition. I went back to school and earned my M.S. in Applied Clinical Nutrition to help others experience the same transformation. I also trained in Autonomic Response Testing (ART) under Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt — a form of applied kinesiology that helps identify the root causes of stress on the nervous system and guides targeted healing strategies. This was a game changer in my ability to confidently and effectively support my clients.
In 2020, my husband was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. That experience intensified my commitment to holistic healing and deepened my search for powerful modalities to support the body. It was years later that I was introduced to Biomagnetism by a client—and something immediately resonated. I knew I had to learn more.
I trained under Dr. Luis Garcia and am now an Advanced Biomagnetism Practitioner. After my first session applying magnets to myself, I experienced profound shifts in my energy. When I began using Biomagnetism with my husband, I noticed noticeable improvements in his vitality. Today, I use magnets regularly on myself and my family.
I’ve seen the most remarkable results in my clients—including those with Lyme disease, autism, and chronic illness—many of whom I had already been working with for years. Biomagnetism helped take their healing to a completely new level.
What’s been truly amazing is that I no longer need as many supplements—my body feels more balanced and resilient with the support of Biomagnetism. My nervous system feels regulated. My energy is amazing. This modality has been truly life-changing, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found such a powerful tool to support others on their healing journeys.
I know firsthand what it feels like to struggle with digestive issues, anxiety, gallbladder pain, pancreatitis, joint pain, fatigue, and hormonal imbalances like PCOS — and I also know what it’s like to come out on the other side.
Healing is a journey, but it is possible.
You are not alone, and there is hope for you.
